Four time Verizon IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon who drives the No.9 PNC Bank Honda for Chip Ganassi Racing says that team managing director Mike Hull has a great ability to attract the best out of the team that work around him.

Hull has just began his 26th season with Chip Ganassi Racing and he and Ganassi are one of the most successful partnerships in the Verizon IndyCar Series.

In the opening race of the 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series season, the Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg, Dixon finished the 110 lap event in sixth place having come through the field twice to finish the race in sixth place.

Speaking about Hull’s success with Ganassi, four time Verizon IndyCar Series champion and three time Indianapolis 500 winner Dario Franchitti told IndyCar.com:

To be successful in anything is tough. To be successful in multiple disciplines is difficult. To be continuously successful is very difficult. One thing that Mike and Chip say all the time is that it’s about the team, it’s about the people. It is such a team sport, and that’s one of the things I feel very fortunate about in working with a great team like Chip Ganassi Racing. It’s good people and that’s what it takes to win.”

Hull, who calls the races for Scott Dixon believes that in order to succeed you have to extract the best out of the team around you at the right time.
