Ryan Hunter-Reay brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Dreyer and Reinbold Racing as he prepares for the 107th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge.
DRR announced on Wednesday that Hunter Reay would join Stefan Wilson at the team led by Dennis Reinbold for the ‘Greatest Spectacle In Racing’ on Sunday, May 28.
Taking to Twitter following the announcement, Hunter-Reay, who won the 2014 edition of the race, said:

Hunter-Reay will be reuniting with his former team-mate, Stefan Wilson, who he competed alongside during their time together at Andretti Autosport for both the 2018 and 2021 Indianapolis 500’s.

The pair will be on track at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval course for a two-day full-field pre-event test from April 20-21. Hunter-Reay is not only the 2014 Indianapolis 500 winner, he also won the 2012 NTT INDYCAR SERIES championship.
The Floridian has 18 career victories at the Indianapolis 500. He has 6 top ten finishes in 14 starts in the Greatest Spectacle In Racing and two front-row starts in 2012 and 2016, respectively.
