NTT IndyCar Series championship leader Alex Palou in the No.10 NTT DATA Chip Ganassi Racing Honda says that he feels comfortable in the car following his first time on Friday after last year’s race was cancelled due to COVID-19.

Palou who is 35 points ahead of Pato O’Ward was third fastest in Friday’s practice with a time of 01:09.4554s commented saying:

“It was a good session. “I like the track. It was all about getting to know the track and see how that No. 10 NTT DATA car was handling. I’m comfortable and ready to push tomorrow.”

Palou just needs to finish the race in eleventh place on Sunday regardless of what Pato O’Ward and Josef Newgarden do to clinch his first championship but speaking following the session on Friday the Spaniard said that he is going all out to win the race.
