AJ Foyt Racing’s Tatiana Calderon in the No.11 ROKiT Chevrolet says she is looking forward to the challenge of the bumpy Belle Isle circuit in Detroit this weekend.
The Colombian returns to NTT IndyCar Series race competition after nearly a month off due to the 106th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge.
Looking ahead to this weekend’s race, Tatiana says:
“It already feels like a long time has passed since my last race at Indianapolis, but we left there with a good feeling and we understand more now how I like the set-up of the car. Detroit is another new track for me, it looks very bumpy and challenging, so I look forward to discovering it; we’ve done a lot of simulator work and watching on-board videos to prepare. It feels like IndyCar is going through a good moment, I was a spectator at the Indy 500 and the atmosphere was amazing. Now I’m looking forward to rejoining the championship and aiming for another good result.
