Andretti Harding Steinbrenner Autosport’s James Hinchcliffe in the No.29 Genesys Honda says he believes expectations are high for the Andretti Autosport team heading into this weekend’s Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama at Barber Motorsports as the 2021 NTT IndyCar Series season gets underway.
The Mayor of HinchTown makes his full-time series return with Andretti Harding Steinbrenner Autosport alongside Ryan Hunter Reay, Alexander Rossi, and Colton Herta.
Speaking ahead of this weekend’s race Hinch said:
“I think expectations are high for the year (as Andretti) has got a pretty stacked lineup. “There was good momentum with the team at the end of last year.”
Alexander Rossi, who drives the No.27 NAPA Auto Parts Honda says he is more motivated following the disappointment of last season, and speaking ahead of the race this weekend he said:
“I’m more motivated than you can believe, and I’m really excited,” “I have a lot of points to prove.”
