Andretti Autosport’s Colton Herta says that he believes that there is a really good chance that he and the No.26 Gainbridge Honda crew can win the REV Group Grand Prix of Road America on Sunday after the Californian qualified on the front row alongside polesitter Josef Newgarden.

Speaking to Paddock Eye following the session he said:

I think we’re getting there. I think Josef kind of nailed it, that tire life wasn’t a strength of I don’t know about the team but definitely mine. I’ve worked a lot in the last two years to kind of get better at it. So I’ll be trying a lot of different things driving-wise in warmup here in a little bit. We’ll do some tweaks on the setup for the race and see what we have.

But, yeah, I think there’s a really good chance that we could win tomorrow. We seem to have a really good car. Confidence is high. We’ve had really good pace the last few weekends. Yeah, I’m really excited for it.

Could Colton Herta become the second repeat race winner of 2021 or will Josef Newgarden and Team Penske open their victory account? Tune into the REV Group Grand Prix of Road America on Sunday from 12PM ET on NBCSN and at 5PM on Sky Sports F1HD.
