Ryan Hunter Reay says that the Indianapolis 500 open test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway next week is huge, particularly for him as he returns to racing for the Greatest Spectacle In Racing next month with Dreyer and Reinbold Racing.
Speaking during NBC Sports coverage of Saturday morning’s practice session at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, he said that he agrees with Andretti Autospotrt’s Colton Herta that we won’t get a gauge on what is happening at the Speedway until qualifying for the 500 due to the different aero packages that are available to them for May.
Ryan Hunter Reay will compete work with Stefan Wilson as the Englishman joins Dreyer and Reinbold Racing with Cusick Motorsports.
