Williams Martini Racing’s deputy team principal Claire Williams has said that her outfit would welcome someone like Paddy Lowe at Grove.
Williams technical director Pat Symonds left the outfit at the end of last year meaning that there is a vacancy at the outfit, meanwhile over at the Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, the reigning world champions are also looking for a new technical director following Executive Director (Technical) Paddy Lowe’s departure.
Lowe began his career with Williams in 1987 and speaking at the Autosport International Show over the weekend, Williams said:
“Of course someone like Paddy now that he is available is going to be appealing to us. He has driven that team to three world championship titles in three consecutive years.
