The Indianapolis Motor Speedway and NTT IndyCar Series announced on Monday that this week’s two-day open Indianapolis 500 test will be streamed exclusively live via NBC/Universial’s new streaming service Peacock.
The two day test will feature 32 cars on track, including two-time Indianapolis 500 winner, Juan Pablo Montoya who will compete in the Greatest Spectacle In Racing in the No.86 Arrow McLaren SP Chevrolet.
Speaking about the news, President of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, J Douglas Boles commented saying:
IMS and INDYCAR are working closely with NBC Sports to deliver what should be an exceptional show on Peacock during these two very important days of testing. “Having the NBC Sports broadcasters, production quality and exclusive content will deliver an engaging viewing experience that builds even more anticipation for finally coming ‘Back Home Again’ to IMS in May.
The new Paretta Autosport team will make their on track debut this week at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with their driver Simona De Silvestro driving the No.16 MoneyLion Chevrolet.
