The INDY NXT presented by Firestone championship returns with the Children’s Indy Grand Prix of Alabama in early May.
Barber Motorsports Park plays host to round 2 of the 2025 season.
A number of drivers are looking to continue their solid starts to the season such as Jonathan Browne who came home in seventh place in the season-opening Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg with Chip Ganassi Racing.
Dennis Hauger will also be hoping to continue he great start after he claimed victory on his INDY NXT presented by Firestone debut. Hauger claimed pole and dominated the race.
Lochie Hughes had a great race in Florida as he came home in second for Andretti Global giving the team a 1-2 finish.
Caio Collet completed the podium for HMD Motorsports.
Myles Rowe was fourth for Abel Motorsports.
Hailie Deegan who made her INDY NXT debut with HMD Motorsports in St Petersburg will be aiming for a strong race at Barber Motorsports Park after she came home 14th.
Andretti Global’s James Roe in the No.29 Topcon Dallara will be aiming for another strong race at Barber Motorsports Park after retiring from the season opener in St Pete.
Rowe had a great race in Alabama last season as he came home on the podium in third place.
Sophia Flöersch, who made her INDY NXT presented by Firestone debut in St Petersburg finishing 12th has parted company with HMD Motorsports, with the Brownsburg-based outfit yet to announce who will replace the German in the No.24 Dallara.
