The Verizon IndyCar Series will be at Iowa Speedway on Wednesday for a team test ahead of the Iowa Corn 300 which takes place on July 9/10. The test will be open to the public.
Speaking about the test which will be attended by eight Verizon IndyCar Series teams with 19 drivers taking part Iowa Speedway president Jimmy Small commented by saying:
With the drivers scheduled to test next week, this session will undoubtedly have a raceday feel and heightened sense of urgency, Timing and scoring is not used during team tests but the drivers will push the cars to the limit, giving fans a preview of what’s to come on July 10.
The test gets runs from 9AM – 5PM CT with RV Hill open to fans who wish to attend the day of action.
The speedway are advising fans attending the test to bring their own lawn chairs along with snacks and plenty of water as the Grandstands and concourses will not be open on the day.
