The Verizon IndyCar Series are set for an extraordinarily busy few days. The ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway will be held on Monday with the green flag at 12.09.
There will be no hanging around with the teams and drivers hot footing it to Texas Motor Speedway for next Saturday’s rescheduled Firestone 600 for the ‘restart your engines’ event which will pick up from lap 72 with Schmidt Peterson Motorsports James Hinchcliffe leading the race.
The series will head from Texas to New York for the return of Watkins Glen which replaces the ill-fated Boston Grand Prix.
Mikhail Aleshin will lead the field for the green flag at Pocono on Monday after setting a two lap qualifying average speed of 220.445mph.
