The 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series season has just wrapped up but plans are already afoot for the 2019 season.
The foundations for the 2019 IndyCar season had begin to be laid on Monday as testing commences in preparation for the 2019 season.
It remains to be seen if anyone will be on track next week but it is possible that new Chip Ganassi Racing signing Felix Rosenqvist may get an early outing in the No.10 NTT DATA Honda as he prepares to make his series race debut in 2019.
Harding Steinbrenner Racing may also decide to run in the next few weeks to allow Patricio O’Ward and Colton Herta get to grips with ovals with the new partnership making their debut in the Verizon IndyCar Series in 2019.
The 2019 season is set to be another classic as we have new tracks with the Circuit Of The Americas in Austin Texas joining the schedule while the Raceway at Laguna Seca returning to the schedule as the final race of the year.
We are also set to see new teams enter the sport and expansion of existing teams so 2019 can’t come quick enough!
