Race fans, are you ready?! It is nearly time for the dawn of a new racing era at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas as this time next week the NTT IndyCar Series will roar to life for the inaugural IndyCar Classic.

If Spring training was anything to go by we are in for a hell of a treat next weekend when the NTT IndyCar Series rolls into Austin for round 2 of the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series season.

The season opening Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg last weekend was won by Team Penske’s Josef Newgarden while defending series champion Scott Dixon came home in second place for Chip Ganassi Racing.

It is going to be interesting to see how the ex F1 drivers, Alexander Rossi and Marcus Ericsson get on at the Circuit of the Americas as they recently raced their in Formula One.

The circuit provided two days of fantastic track action during the IndyCar Classic next weekend. Harding Steinbrenner Racing had a great test here last month and they will be able to use what they learnt at the test in the race so we can expect them to be fast next weekend.
