Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon was left disappointed following his qualifying effort for Sunday’s Iowa Corn 300 at the Iowa Speedway.

The Iceman and current series points leader in the No.9 NTT DATA Honda felt that the car was a bit lose and put that down to the teams lack of running during to the opening practice this morning as a result of his penalty which meant he was forced to sit out the last twenty minutes of the session.

Dixon set a two lap average qualifying run of 180.302MPH.
