W Series driver Beitske Visser took to Twitter on Tuesday to thank everyone involved for what she described as a great season.
The inaugural season of the W Series concluded at the weekend in Brands Hatch providing a fascinating and exciting championship decider between Visser and Britain’s Jamie Chadwick.
Chadwick took victory in the championship by ten points from Beitske Visser who took the championship down to the decider in Brands Hatch.
She may not have won the championship but the Dutch driver did manage to finish ahead of Chadwick in Sunday’s race coming home in third place behind race winner Alice Powell and second placed Emma Kimilainen.
Visser’s attention will now focus to her other racing activities as a BMW junior driver.
