Graham Rahal in the No.15 Bobby Rahal Automotive Group Honda left Pocono Raceway disappointed after just missing out on a top ten finish at the ABC Supply 500 on Monday.
Rahal who started the race from 11th place finished the event where he started in 11th place just ahead of Andretti Autosport’s Marco Andretti in the No.27 UFD/Snapple Honda. Speaking following the race Rahal who ran as high a seventh commented by saying:
All in all it was one of those days. It’s frustrating because we would have liked to finish higher up but for whatever reason we are lacking straight line speed. Cornering-wise we were able to pull up on a lot of guys exiting corners but when we get to the straightaways, they would leave us once I pulled fifth gear. We’ve got to figure out why that is, rebound and be better.
Next up for Rahal and the rest of the Verizon IndyCar Series drivers is the Firestone 600 from Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday night.
