The Verizon IndyCar Series confirmed that Sunday’s ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway has been postponed until 12:09 on Monday.

Verizon P1 Award winner Mikhail Aleshin was obviously disappointing having to wait to lead the field. The Russian commented by saying:

It is a disappointment, definitely, The thing is, we have what we have in this situation. I feel very sorry for the fans because they came out and now we have rain. It’s something we can’t do anything with. We need to hope that tomorrow has no rain and it will be fine.

Aleshin who made Verizon IndyCar Series history on Saturday by becoming the first Russian to claim a P1 Award went on to say:

It will be the same for everyone, I don’t care about (the track possibly changing). We are going to prepare like we always do and just stay focused for one more day.
