Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Graham Rahal was happy with how his opening morning went as testing for the 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil got underway on Monday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Rahal who ended the morning in sixth place said that the No.15 MiJack Honda is going to race well at the Speedway and that the initial balance and set up of the car felt good.
When asked about adding a third car to the team for the month of May, Rahal said that it was good to have extra bullets in the gun.
Rahal also said that it is fun having Oriol Servia in the team as he is like a big brother. The Verizon IndyCar Series veteran will join Rahal and team mate defending Indianapolis 500 champion Takuma Sato for the race next month.
