AJ Foyt Racing’s Dalton Kellett, driver of the No.4 K Line Insulator Chevrolet says it is hugely beneficial having Sebastien Bourdais as his team mate for the 2021 NTT IndyCar Series season.
Speaking to Paddock Eye during Friday’s media day, the Canadian said that he learnt a lot from Sebass, Tony Kanaan and Charlie Kimball last season that he can build on for the 2021 season.
Kellett, who steps up to a full-time drive in IndyCar with AJ Foyt Racing told us that he extremely excited about the inaugural Music City Grand Prix which takes place from August 6-8. Kellett said:
It’s really beneficial. You know, I’m very thankful for the opportunities that I’ve had with Foyt to be paired with not just Seb but other very experienced teammates in TK and Charlie last year. There’s a lot of experience at that team.
Having Seb this year is going to be a great learning opportunity for me. I think his experience and his talent is unquestioned. And as a young driver, it’s very beneficial to have someone that’s kind of a known quantity that you can benchmark yourself against.
