We have a number of rookies participating in the race today such as seven-time Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson who starts the race from 12th place in the No.48 Carvana Chip Ganassi Racing Honda while Romain Grosjean in the No.28 DHL Andretti Autosport Honda starts the race from ninth.
David Malukas starts the race from 13th place for Dale Coyne Racing with HMD Motorsports. Callum Ilott starts the race from 19th for the Juncos Hollinger Racing while Devlin DeFrancesco starts the race from P24 just ahead of Kyle Kirkwood of AJ Foyt Racing while Christian Lundgaard starts the race from 31st place.
It is not just the rookies that drivers should be looking out for. Five-time pole-sitter Scott Dixon is a driver to watch as he recorded the second-fastest four-lap average qualifying speed in the history of the sport. Dixon is aiming to claim his second 500 win while the likes of Juan Pablo Montoya is looking to become one of the first drivers to score the victory for three different teams.
