Team Penske’s Will Power in the No.12 Verizon 5G Chevrolet says that he hopes having an extra set of Alternate red Firestone tires for Sunday’s Sonsio Grand Prix of Road America will help him move forward.
The Detroit Grand Prix winner will start the 55 lap race from P15 following a lap time of of 01:45.4227s.
Speaking to NBC following the action, Power, who leads the championship by three points heading into the race said that it was not ideal for the team.
