NASCAR race action returns today at Darlington Raceway after a two month hiatus due to the global COVID 19 pandemic.

Team Penske’s Brad Keselowski is on pole for the Real Heroes 400 and starts the event just ahead Alex Bowman and Matt Dibenedetto in the No.21 Wood Brothers Food Mustang. Kyle Busch in the No.14 M&M’s Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camaro.

The race which gets underway at 3.30PM ET will be broadcast on TV behind closed doors without fans with NASCAR being the first major sports organisation to host an event since the COVID 19 global pandemic. Today’s race marks the first event of an extremely busy schedule for the sport with 13 races scheduled between now and Julu 19.

NASCAR have worked extremely hard in recent weeks to ensure that all COVID 19 safety protocols are in force and that they will be adhered to during racing events.
