Chip Ganassi Racing’s Jimmie Johnson, driver of the No.48 Carvana Honda reunited with an old friend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Friday.

The seven-time Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion is competing full-time in the NTT IndyCar Series full-time this season and for the first time since COVID-19 began both IndyCar and NASCAR are at the same venue, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway where they are now allowed to cross into each others paddocks.

Johnson visited his old car, the No.48 Ally Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.

Johnson will roll off from 23rd place for today’s Gallagher Grand Prix of Indianapolis on the IMS road course.
