Juncos Hollinger Racing Team Principal Dave O’Neill wants to see the team challenge for regular podiums, wins, the Indianapolis 500, and, ultimately, the NTT INDYCAR SERIES championship. Still, he understands that it will be tricky, given how close the NTT INDYCAR SERIES teams are.

Speaking to Paddock Eye on Thursday, O’Neill said that in Portland this season, the top 18 cars were separated by .7s. Juncos Hollinger Racing announced on Wednesday that Conor Daly will return to full-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES competition with the team.

Dave said that Conor has worked extremely hard recently to prepare for his full-time return. He is excited to have Daly on the team because he has done exceptionally well at the Indianapolis 500. O’Neill wants to win the Indianapolis 500, as he has won endurance and Formula One races. He wants to do the same in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.

O’Neill says that he is excited to see what Sting Ray Robb can do with the team in 2025 as he said that Robb hasn’t had the chance to show what he can do in the teams he’s been with as they haven’t put their arm around him. He said that Robb, who won the championship with JHR in 2019 in the Indy Pro 2000 championship, will have a good environment within the JHR INDYCAR team.

O’Neill is also excited to have Daly in the car full-time for them. With his podium finish in Iowa, he showed what he can do, and he is looking forward to seeing what Daly can do at the Indianapolis 500 in May.

O’Neill, who has been with Juncos Hollinger Racing for almost a year, and the Indianapolis 500 in May was his first race with the team, feels that the team has made great strides. However, he says there is still much work to be done.

O’Neill is excited about Penske Entertainment Corporation’s new broadcast agreement with Fox Sports, which he believes will expand the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.

The 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season kicks off from February 28 – March 2, with the Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg presented by RP Funding.
