Arrow McLaren Team Principal Tony Kanaan says it was a blast to be back on track at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Thursday.

The 2013 Indianapolis 500 winner completed his refresher program on Thursday.

Speaking about the team, TK said he feels that Honda has closed the gap to Chevrolet.

I think we are good, Kanaan told Fox. The Brazilian said that the team have not done a qualifying sim but they will do that on Fast Friday.

Kanaan said that he is not ready to race and has bigger responsibilities in his new role as Team Principal.
