Verizon Team Penske’s Will Power in the No.12 Chevrolet ended the session third place with a fastest time of 01:42.8490s.

Max Chilton was fourth fastest for Chip Ganassi Racing in the No.8 Gallagher Chevrolet. The Englishman set a fastest time of 01:43.0450s ending the session just ahead of the Menards Chevrolet of series points leader Simon Pagenaud who set a fastest time of 01:43.0973s.

Ryan Hunter Reay in the No.28 DHL Honda was sixth fastest ending the session just ahead of KVSH Racing’s Sebastien Bourdais in the No.11 Team Hydroxycut Chevrolet.

Takuma Sato was 8th fastest in the No.14 ABC Supply Co AJ Foyt Racing Honda setting a fastest time of 01:43.2380s ending the session just ahead of Alexander Rossi in the No.98 Castrol Edge / Curb Honda.

Team Penske’s Helio Castroneves in the No.3 Hitachi Chevrolet was rounded out the top ten with a time of 01:43.3107s ending the session just ahead of Conor Daly.

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Graham Rahal in the No.15 Gehl Honda ended the session in 12th place just ahead of the Ed Carpenter Racing duo of Josef Newgarden in the No.21 Direct Supply Chevrolet and Spencer Pigot in the No.20 Fuzzy’s Vodka Chevrolet.

James Hinchcliffe in the No.5 Arrow Honda ended the session in 15th place with a fastest time of 01:43.4580s ending the morning just ahead of Mikhail Aleshin in the No.7 SMP Racing Honda who had a fastest time of 01:43.7530s just ahead of the No.41 ABC Supply Co AJ Foyt Racing Honda of Jack Hawksworth who set a fastest time of 01:43.8337s.

Marco Andretti in the No.27 United Fibers & Data/Snapple Honda was 18th fastest with a time of 01:43.8604s.

Charlie Kimball in the No.83 Tresiba® Chevrolet was 19th fastest just ahead of Dale Coyne Racing’s Gabby Chaves. Juan Pablo Montoya was 21st for Team Penske while Carlos Munoz in the No.26 Honda suffered a engine failure early in the session and was forced to sit out the morning. Andretti Autosport will have a busy time between now and qualifying later today.
