AJ Foyt Racing’s Tony Kanaan who drives the No.14 ABC Supply Chevrolet will make his 290th consecutive Verizon IndyCar Series start this weekend in Detroit.

The Brazilian had a really strong month of May having started the race from 10th place and he led the race and was extremely strong over the course of the race before he was forced to retire from the event following contact.

The 2013 Indianapolis 500 champion and 2004 Verizon IndyCar Series champion will be aiming to continue the strong momentum from the month of May into this weekend’s double header in Detroit and beyond for the rest of the 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series season.

Kanaan has made 15 starts in Detroit, the most of any active IndyCar Series driver. The Brazilian goes into this weekend’s action in 13th place in the series points standings. In total, TK has made 350 Verizon IndyCar Series career starts.
