Tony Kanaan, the 2013 Indianapolis 500 winner and NTT IndyCar Series veteran says there is nothing to report when it comes to who he will race for in the 107th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge.

It has been reported that the Brazilian who finished third in last year’s race for Chip Ganassi Racing was set to drive for Arrow McLaren SP in 2023 however, Kanaan has denied this.

Speaking to the IndyStar this week, Kanaan confirmed that he has spoken with several teams in the NTT IndyCar Series paddock about the Indianapolis 500, including Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, Dreyer and Reinbold and Arrow McLaren SP.

Kanaan is also in talks with Chip Ganassi Racinng but it remains unclear what the defending Indianapolis 500 champions will do in 2023.

Paddock Eye understands that Jimmie Johnson who has taken a step back from full-time racing competition for 2023 will compete in the Indianapolis 500.
