Arrow McLaren IndyCar team driver and NTT INDYCAR SERIES veteran Tony Kanaan says that the team had no issues on Thursday, the only day of the IMS open test.

The Brazilian, who won the Indianapolis 500 in 2013 with KV Racing Technology is competing in his final Indianapolis 500 next month and believes Thursday’s track action was very good. Speaking following the action, Kanaan said:

It was a good day. First day, trying to get through the motions. It’s a new car, new build, so we didn’t really worry about anything, it was just trying to get myself, the mechanics, and everything rolling. It was an awesome day. We ran as many laps as we wanted to run. There were no issues, so a good day.”

Kanaan ended the day in 15th place and completed 40 laps.
