Arrow McLaren Team Principal Tony Kanaan says that the team are hungrier than ever to win the Indianapolis 500.
Speaking ahead of the two day open test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway that is currently underway, Kanaan said that he felt really bad for his driver Pato O’Ward, who finished runner up to Josef Newgarden of Team Penske last year.
Kanaan says that it is always special for him to drive through the tunnel into the tack and that as Team Principal now, the Indianapolis 500 is different.
Arrow McLaren hopes to have all four of their cars in the field for the Greatest Spectacle In Racing.
Pato O’Ward, Nolan Siegel and Christian Lundgaard are once again joined by NASCAR CUP SERIES champion Kyle Larson who is attempting to complete both the Indianapolis 500 and NASCAR’s Coca-Cola 600 on the same day.
