Have you ever wondered how the Verizon IndyCar Series goes from race to race? Well wonder no more.
The Verizon IndyCar Series was in Canada last weekend for the Honda Indy Toronto and what a fantastic place for a race. The paddock for the series was for the only time this season inside in the Enercare Centre at Exhibition place where it was transformed into a huge car preparation area.
The transporters as they are known as were all parked up in team order where the engineers and mechanics worked on the cars and then would debrief in the office space of the transporter.
The transporter is split into three sections with the main area at the time where the race and T-car are stored for transportation. There is office space at the front of the transporter for drivers to meet with their engineers to go over data from the on track activity.
Below where the cars are kept is workshop space for the engineers and mechanics and below that are storage lockers for transportation.
