Schmidt Peterson Motorsports General Manager Taylor Kiel says he is looking forward to seeing good things from their new driver Marcus Ericsson.

It was announced on Tuesday that the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team will join James Hinchcliffe and Jack Harvey for the 2019 IndyCar Series season.

Kiel was very impressed with the Swede’s feedback from his visit to the team’s race shop.

Ericsson says he hopes he can use his five years of Formula One experience to good use when he moves to the US both on road and street circuits as well as on ovals which he has not raced on before.
