Carlin Racing will have some familiar faces in the cock pit for this weekend’s ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway with both Charlie Kimball and Conor Daly returning to the team for Sunday’s NTT IndyCar Series race.
This weekend’s race at Pocono Raceway will be Charlie Kimball’s final oval event of the season with the Californian having returned to the NTT IndyCar Series on a partial schedule for the season in 2019 and raced with the team at the Indianapolis 500 in May.
Kimball will also drive in the season finale Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey at WetherTech Raceway Languna Seca. Conor Daly will drive for Carlin this weekend and again next weekend in the Bommarito Automotive Group 500 at Gateway Motorsports Park. before returning to Andretti Autosport for the final race of the year.
For both drivers, the Carlin drivers is a great platform for them to show what they can do as they look for drives in the NTT IndyCar Series for the 2020 season.
Arrow McLaren Racing SP are looking for a second driver for 2020 alongside James Hinchcliffe and both Daly and Kimball get on very well with the Mayor of HinchTown and have been great when it comes to providing technical feedback and they are both very experienced in the NTT IndyCar Series.
Meyer Shank Racing may also be looking for a second driver alongside Jack Harvey as Paddock Eye understands that the team will go full-time in the NTT IndyCar Series in 2020.
