Former NTT INDYCAR SERIES driver Charlie Kimball is working as a driver coach to rookie Sting Ray Robb.
Robb is making his series debut later today with Dale Coyne Racing at the Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg presented by RP Funding.
Kimball says that his job particularly this weekend is help Robb not make the mistakes he made during his rookie season in the series.
Kimball has worked as a coach in recent seasons with AJ Foyt Racing and last season he spent a lot of the year on the timing stand with Ed Carpenter Racing.
Sting Ray Robb starts today’s 100-lap race from 23rd place.
