United States Grand Prix winner Kimi Raikkonen says he is happy to be moving to the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team next season as he is excited about the new challenge that awaits him when he arrives there.

It was announced last month that the Iceman will leave Ferrari at the end of the season to join the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team, the outfit where he made his Formula One debut back in 2001.

The Finn said that he is happy as the Sauber factory is just 40 minutes drive from his home in Switzerland meaning that he will be able to spend more time at home with his kids, Robin and Rhianna and his wife Minttu.

Speaking to Sky Sports F1 following his win in Austin on Sunday, Raikkonen revealed that he felt it was the right decision for him to leave Ferrari as he has won many races with the Maranello based outfit and of course he won the championship with the Prancing Horse in 2007.
