Alfa Romeo Racing driver Kimi Raikkonen says he is not interested in the fact that later this year he will become the most experienced driver in Formula One history overtaking Rubens Barrichello’s record of 322 Grand Prix starts meaning in Austria on July 5, the Iceman will become the most experienced Formula One driver.
Raikkonen who made his debut with Sauber in 2001 told the official Formula One website that he is excited to go racing again and to help Alfa to move to the front this season.
The Iceman, who returned to the Hinwil based outfit last season from Ferrari explained that he is happy where he is as it means less travel. Kimi is married to Minttu and the have two young children which means that Kimi who famously joined Instagram last year can now spend more time at home with family.
Kimi like the other drivers has a few weeks left of the off season before winter testing gets underway in Spain at the Barcelona Circuit Du Catalunya on February 17.
