Kimi Raikkonen’s manager Steve Robertson says the 39 year old still has something to offer Formula One.
The Iceman returns to the Sauber F1 Team for whom he made his Grand Prix debut with in 2001 this year and is joined at the team by Formula One rookie Antonio Giovinazzi.
Robertson has confirmed that when the Iceman made contact with Sauber it was like as he was the interviewer as he was asking loads of questions regarding the 2019 season and the team’s development programme.
Raikkonen had been extremely consistent in 2018 and showed he still has the speed to compete at the top in Formula One.
Raikkonen had already spent a considerable amount of time at the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team’s HQ in Hinwil on this year’s car.
