Harding Steinbrenner Racing announced on Monday that Mexican fast food restaurant King Taco will serve as primary sponsor to Colton Herta’s No.88 Honda for this weekend’s Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.

Speaking about the news, Herta who is currently fifth in the NTT IndyCar Series points standing said:

Super happy to have king taco on board for Long Beach as a primary sponsor for the #88 Indy car. “King Taco has always supported the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach and INDYCAR as a whole. Their tacos are amazing, and being from Los Angeles…I know what a street taco should taste like!”

Team co-owner Mike Harding said:

“It is very exciting to welcome another sponsor to the Harding Steinbrenner team for the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach. “Let’s bring the #88 King Taco car to victory lane so we can celebrate with victory tacos!”
George Michael Steinbrenner commented by saying:
Delighted to have King Taco as the team’s primary sponsor for the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach,” said George Michael Steinbrenner. “They are a Long Beach staple and I feel so proud to have them on board. Hoping to bring home a good result on Sunday.
As part of their partnership with Harding Steinbrenner Racing, King Taco are offering fans a free taco if Colton Herta wins the race this weekend by presenting their ticket stub. The offer runs until April 30.
