Scott McLaughlin was eighth in the No.12 Team Penske Chevrolet just ahead of Romain Grosjean who drove the No.77 Chevrolet for the first time with Juncos Hollinger Racing.
Newly married Santino Ferrucci rounded out the order for AJ Foyt Racing in tenth place.
