Former Formula One driver Robert Kubica will get back behind the wheel of Formula One car on Tuesday as he joins Renault Sport F1 Team test driver Sergey Sirotkin in Valencia.

Kubica who drove in Formula One with BMW and Renault before a horrendous rally accident ended his Formula One career in 2011 which resulted in the Pole suffering a partially severed hand.

It will be the first time since February 2011 that Kubica will have driven a car. Kubica will drive the Lotus E20 from 2012 which was used by Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean in their first season with the Enstone outfit.
