Scuderia Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc was fastest on day 3 of the second winter test at the Barcelona Circuit Du Catalunya on Thursday. The Monaceques driver set a fastest time of 01:16.231s ending the day just ahead of Scuderia Toro Rosso’s Alex Albon.
It was another strong day for the McLaren Renault team as Lando Norris set the third fastest time of the day with a 01:17.084s.
Aston Martin Red Bull Racing’s Pierre Gasly was fourth fastest despite crashing heavily in the Honda powered RB15. The Frenchman ended the day just ahead of Renault F1 Team’s Daniel Ricciardo.
Nico Hulkenberg was sixth fastest with a time of 01:17.496s.
SportPesa Racing Point F1 Team’s Lance Stroll was seventh fastest in the Mercedes powered RP19 setting a time of 01:17.556s.
Alfa Romeo Racing’s Antonio Giovinazzi was eighth fastest with a time of 01:17.639s.
Rich Energy Haas F1 Team’s Romain Grosjean was ninth fastest just ahead of defending champion Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes W10.
Rokit Williams Racing’s George Russell was 11th in the Mercedes powered FW42 ending the day just ahead of Rich Energy Haas F1 Team’s Kevin Magnussen.
Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team’s Valtteri Bottas rounded out the order in 13th place respectively.
