Former Arrow McLaren SP NTT IndyCar Series driver James Hinchcliffe has revealed that being a part time driver for 2020 has opened up more racing avenues for him to consider.

Speaking to the Globe And Mail in Toronto, Hinch said he and his team are looking at several options outside of IndyCar for this season and one of them is competing in the 24 Hours of LeMans.

It was announced last week that Hinch has primary sponsorship from Geneyes for the month of May and Paddock Eye understands that he retains links with Petro Canada who have been with him for a number of seasons.

Hinchcliffe said that although he is not driving full time this season he will still be involved in the NTT IndyCar Series and regardless of whether he is on the grid or not for the event he has confirmed he will be working with Green Savoure Promotions to help promote his home race, the Honda Indy Toronto.

Hinchcliffe also revealed that he would like to compete in a stock car race on one of their road courses.
