Defending Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton extended his championship lead to forty points after taking a lights to flag victory in today’s Singapore Grand Prix.
Aston Martin Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen took his forst Singapore podium in second place while Sebastien Vettel completed the podium in third place.
Valtteri Bottas in the second Mercedes finished the race in fourth place just ahead of Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen.
Daniel Ricciardo in the second Aston Martin Red Bull Racing car finished the race in sixth while McLaren Renault’s Fernando Alonso finished the event in seventh place.
Thr Renault Sport F1 Team’s Carlos Sainz finished the race in eighth just ahead of the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team’s Charles Leclerc while Nico Hulkenberg rounded out the top ten.
Marcus Ericsson just missed out on a top ten finish as he came home in 11th.
McLaren Renault’s Stoffel Vandoorne was 12th just ahead of the Haas F1 Team’s Romain Grosjean and Toro Rosso’s Pierre Gasly.
Lance Stroll was 15th for the Williams Martini Racing team.
Sergio Perez was 16th despite being handed a drive through penalty. Brendan Hartley came home in 17th just ahead of of Kevin Magnussen in the Haas. Sergey Sirotkin rounded out the order in 19th place. Esteban Ocon was the only retirement following an incident with his team mate Sergio Perez.
