Road America has been fun so far. We’ve got some work to do but we will get there. We seem to be having some issues that we definitely will solve because that’s what we all want. It’s a long and busy day tomorrow, it will all be very compact. It’s about getting on with it. So far I’m sort of happy, sort of unhappy but we will get there.
Jack Harvey in the No.45 Hy Vee Honda was P16 with a time of 1:46.9495s and speaking following the action he commented saying:
We have some work to do here. I think we need to figure out how we stop the car under the brake a lot better, I’m struggling to drive up to the corner confidently. We had a new format where we ran (Firestone (alternate) reds today which was interesting. We will see what practice two brings here and try to get ready for qualifying.
Graham Rahal in the No.15 Fifth Third Bank Honda was P18 with a time of 01:46.9721s and speaking following the action he said:
We just can’t figure out how to get this car to work together; it’s just two completely different ends all the time. Its super unbalanced. We will continue working on improving the setup.
