M-Sport team principal Malcolm Wilson has confirmed that the outfit did not suffer following Sebastien Ogier’s minor crash during testing on Tuesday ahead of the start of the 2017 World Rally Championship in Monte Carlo next weekend.
Wilson said that the feedback from Ogier and his co-driver Julien Ingrassia was fantastic and he believes the addition of the drivers has been been a great asset to M-Sport.
M-Sport are running two Ford Fiesta EcoBoost WRC cars for the 2017 World Rally Championship and the Cumbria based outfit will have two different liveries for the season which will be revealed to the public at the 2017 Autosport International Show this weekend.
Wilson believes that Ogier’s expertise will help the team in Monte Carlo which he says is a very specific rally.
Ott Tanak will drive the test car on Wednesday and Thursday before Elfyn Evans takes over the car on Friday.
