The Haas F1 Team’s Kevin Magnussen has hit out at the sport after he was excluded from the results of the United States Grand Prix at the Circuit Of The Americas in Austin Texas.
The Dane who finished the race in ninth place was disqualified as his car was found to be under weight having used to much fuel during the race.
Speaking following the race he said:
Unfortunately today we were racing in Formula Fuelsaving rather than Formula 1. And we used 0.1kg (!) too much for the whole race so we got disqualified. Those are the rules so we just have to manage better. Car was great though and the pit stop was amazing. On to the next one!
