Verizon IndyCar Series driver Pippa Mann may be busy preparing for the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil with Dale Coyne Racing this week however with the help of eBay and her sponsor Susan G Komen Mann has set up ber #GetInvolved auction.

The auction which runs throughout the month of May gives Verizon IndyCar Series fans the chance to bid of memorabilia donated by drivers and teams in the Verizon IndyCar Series.

It is the second year that Mann has done auction with all the proceeds going to the Susan G Komen organization in the fight against breast cancer.

Speaking about the auction Mann said:

For the past two years we’ve been running an online fundraising campaign for Susan G. Komen that runs alongside the race car, and we call it the ‘Get Involved’ campaign. “The way we’ve done it has been really good but also had limitations. One of them was that we had to set a fixed price for everything that we wanted to offer to race fans.

Mann who is driving the No.63 Honda explained:

One of the really big things with this new system is we still have the option to do some of the really cool and important fixed-price things. For example, we turned the inside of my cockpit of my race car pink with the names of cancer survivors … cancer fighters. People buy the space and put the names to honor their loved ones who are fighting or have fought cancer, which is something that is really special.
