The on track action may have taken place on Saturday with the Verizon IndyCar Grand Prix at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway but on Sunday the work continues as preparations for the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil as the oval circuit is set up on time for practice which gets underway on Monday.
Pippa Mann who is driving the No.63 Honda for Dale Coyne Racing was at the Speedway on Sunday morning for her final seat fitting ahead of Monday’s first practice session at the Speedway.
Mann will have new team mates this season with Sebastien Bourdais and Ed Jones joining the team ahead of the start of the season as their full-time drivers for 2017 Verizon IndyCar Series season.
Dale Coyne will be hoping for a strong race in two weeks time following a strong start to the season for Sebastien Bourdais and Ed Jones.
The addition of Mann to their line-up for the Indianapolis 500 will help Dale Coyne Racing for the race as they have two experienced drivers at the Speedway with Mann and Bourdais who will be able to use their experience to help Ed Jones who has never competed in the Indianapolis 500.
