Pippa Mann who drove for Dale Coyne Racing in select Verizon IndyCar Series events throughout the 2015 season including the 99th running of the Indianapolis 500 where she qualified in 28th place and finished in 22nd place has said that she hopes to be in the field for the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil.

Following comments made by Formula One commercial rights holder Bernie Ecclestone on Tuesday and in a series of tweets to me, Pippa commented by saying:

Hopefully I’ll get to be out there for a 5th time this May with an with my name on her! 🏁

Mann is not the only female driver hoping to be on the grid at the Indianapolis 500 next month but fellow British driver Katherine Legge is also aiming to be on the grid with Grace Autosport.
